From the Marina, our skipper takes guests along the coast on a private yacht — knowing which way the wind will turn, which cove will be calm and where to drop anchor for a swim.
The coast from the water
Valencia’s coastline is long and open, with the city’s beaches to the north and the dunes and pine woods of the Devesa to the south. From the sea you see the city differently: the port, the beaches, the line of the old fishing quarter of El Cabanyal.
Our skipper reads the weather and the sea each morning and plans the route around it, so the day is always unhurried and comfortable.
A morning at sea
A typical outing leaves after breakfast: a few hours under sail or motor, a swim when the water allows it, and a light lunch on board or a return in time for a rice lunch by the beach. In the cooler months the boat is a calm, sunny place to spend a morning; from late spring the swimming is the highlight.
