How a Private Journey Works

The process
Four steps, one travel designer
A private consultation
Your travel designer replies by email with a few questions: who is traveling, the pace you enjoy, the tables you dream of. A call only if you would like one.
Your proposal, written for you
Within three working days you receive a day-by-day journey with the access moments we have secured, and a clear price.
Refined together
We adjust until every day feels right. Nothing is confirmed until you are certain.
On the ground, quietly present
Your designer and our Local Heroes look after every detail, with support on the ground throughout your stay.
1. A private consultation
It begins with a request. Within 24 hours your Private Valencia travel designer replies personally by email — never an automated message — with a few questions: who is traveling, when, what you love to eat and drink, the pace you enjoy and anything you would rather avoid. Email lets you answer in your own time, whatever your time zone. If you prefer to talk, we arrange a short call or a WhatsApp conversation at an hour that suits you. There is no cost and no obligation.
2. Your proposal
Within three working days you receive a written proposal: day by day, with the hotel we suggest, the access moments we have secured or requested, the drives and their timings, and a clear price per person. Every proposal is signed by your travel designer.
3. Refined together
We adjust the journey until every day feels right — a slower morning, a different hotel, one more evening at the sea. Once you are happy, we confirm each element and send you the final itinerary. A deposit of 30% confirms the journey; the balance is due 60 days before you arrive. Cancellation terms are set out in your proposal.
4. On the ground
Before you arrive, you receive a short guide to your journey and the contact of your travel designer. During your stay, our drivers, guides and Local Heroes look after the details, and support is a message away throughout. After you leave, we ask how it went — and remember for next time.
What a journey usually includes
- Hotel accommodation chosen for you, with breakfast
- Private transfers and a private driver for excursions
- Private guides where they add something
- Two or three access moments: cellars, kitchens, boats or homes not open to the public
- Selected meals and tastings
- Support before and during your journey
Flights are not included. We are happy to suggest the best routes.

Couples, families and private groups who value time, privacy and the stories behind what they eat and drink. Our journeys are designed above all for travelers from the United States and the United Kingdom, and usually last three to five nights.
